Those who have visited other branches will already know what to expect from the newly opened Hard Rock Cafe Hangzhou - an immersive dining and entertainment experience that can be enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.
Perhaps the greatest thing about Hard Rock, and what it is famous for, is the music memorabilia that covers the walls, and Hard Rock Cafe Hangzhou is no different with pieces ranging from Eric Clapton’s guitar to a pair of Michael Jackson’s pyjamas. As the name and decor both suggest, the Hard Rock is mad about music, and as the focal point of the whole place, the live stage will be occupied most nights with local talent hammering out some of your favourite tunes, making this a place that both music fans and foodies can enjoy.
The menu offers much variety, providing guests with a number of appetizers, meals and signature beverage options. Wings (10pcs 98RMB), Nachos (118RMB), Bruschetta (78RMB), and the Jumbo Combo Platter (168RMB) are all perfect for sharing or pairing with a one-of-a-kind cocktail.
The dining menu includes many popular favourite western dishes from all over, from New York Steak (288RMB) to Fish & Chips (148RMB), Caesar Salad (88RMB) to Hickory-Smoked Ribs (238RMB). Also, Hard Rock Cafe Hangzhou boasts a full burger menu with eight different varieties, including vegetarian. The Local Legendary (118RMB), specially designed for the Hangzhou branch, features an appetizing portion of Hangzhou’s very own Dong Po Pork. A selection of desserts are also available including the highly recommended Fresh Apple Cobbler(78RMB) and Hard Rock’s deliciously thick milkshakes (68RMB).
The drinks menu is equally plentiful: draft (Budweiser, 38RMB) and bottled beers, wines, and cocktails, featuring both classic mixes and more original creations (Strawberry Mojito anyone?). Juicy alcoholic fruit presses (Red Berry Press, 108RMB) are prefect for sharing with a friend, or perhaps a glass of one of their refreshing non-alcoholic fruit blends (Wildberry Smoothie, 68RMB). With most drinks, guests have the option to pay a little extra to purchase one of Hard Rock’s glasses, a memento of the great time had at the cafe. Alternatively, wander next door to the Rock Shop for more collectible merchandise.
Hard Rock Cafe is located in the Kerry Center near the Mid-Town Shangri-La. Open from 11:30am to 12:00am. Smoking permitted after 9:00pm, parking limited.
