Hidden in the north, the Unicafé offers the perfect hideaway to sit back, put your feet up and enjoy a fresh fruit juice (38RMB), a meal or a snack. We started off with the Province Salad with sliced radishes and apple (普罗旺斯沙拉, 32RMB), which was basic but plentiful. The Pesto Basil Spaghetti (罗勒意大利面配香肠面包, 42RMB) sauce was bland but the sausage was tasty and the croutons added texture. The Parma Ham and Cheese Pizza (帕尔马火腿芝士披萨, 68RMB) was next, and although the topping was oozing with delicious melted cheese, it was a bit of a letdown by its failed attempt at a thin and crispy base. The Veal Tenderloin (意大利小牛排, 98RMB), was well seasoned and slightly pink. It came with sweet potato mash and wedges. We capped it all off with the pudding and were not disappointed. Chocolate Durian (榴莲巧克力, 38RMB) was thick, creamy and packed with intense flavour that complimented the fruit.
With floor to ceiling windows, wide-open spaces and comfy sofas, this place is both relaxing and family-friendly. The easy to navigate menu and wide selection of mains, desserts and beverages will cater to all tastes and size of appetites.
